In North Carolina last week, Rodney Dwayne Valentine, released from jail after serving a two-month sentence, refused to leave the grounds unless he was provided with a taxi ride to a nearby motel. He was re-arrested, charged with trespassing, and is being held pending an August 9 hearing. I have to think everybody felt a bit foolish.
