Okay, maybe this one isn’t quite comparable to this morning’s People Who Clearly WANTED to Get Caught list, but it does involve a criminal activity and a cell phone and Facebook:
Katy McCaffrey had her iPhone stolen during a Disney Cruise Line vacation last month. The thief, allegedly a Disney employee, was apparently not aware that McCaffrey’s phone has an app that automatically uploaded to her all photos taken with the cell phone’s camera.
At last report, the camera has been recovered and the employee is under investigation.
